Autism Spectrum Disorder or more commonly Autism covers a wide range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors and communication difficulties. One in 100 children under the age of 10 in India has Autism and one in 8 children have at least one neurodevelopmental condition leading to specific weaknesses and strengths in each person.

The earlier autism is detected, better will we be at taking care of and helping a challenged younger reach milestones. However diagnosis of ASD has never been easy and observation from experts are the only reliable way. It is only with adequate and the right care that a child challenged by ASD avoids the maltreatment that comes with it.
